Stop all topical treatments — retinols, acids, prescription actives — one full week before the peel. They can amplify the chemical reaction in unpredictable ways.
Most clients' skin is back to normal after about 7 days. Plan around any events, photo shoots, or sun exposure that falls inside the window.
During recovery, stay out of direct sun, hot saunas, and chlorinated pools. SPF 30+ daily, even when overcast — the new skin needs protection.
